Smiley and Emoticon have been used as a text version with Mobile Devices since the days of the Motorola Star Tac. With the older mobile devices, we didn’t have the luxury of sending and receiving images on our phone (refer to in mobile as Multimedia Messaging Service or MMS), users will have to send text symbol of what they are feeling.
